About Format Conversion
Image format conversion transforms a source file from one encoding standard to another. The right destination depends on the receiving workflow, and conversion may change color, metadata, transparency, geometry, or editability. Always validate the result in its downstream software.
Raster-to-vector conversion reconstructs pixel boundaries as path data. On this site, the vectorization process accepts PNG, JPEG, or WebP files up to 4 MiB and creates a protected preview. Editable SVG export requires paid or complimentary access; the tool does not claim DXF, EPS, AI, PDF, or machine-ready output.
Vector-to-raster export goes the other direction: an SVG or AI file is rendered at a target pixel resolution for sharing, screen display, or use where a fixed-resolution image is required. PNG export preserves transparency; JPG produces smaller files for photography; WebP balances quality and file size for web delivery.
