About Convert PNG to EPS

EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) is a legacy vector format required by some print shops, older design workflows, and professional sign-making equipment. Modern design tools like Adobe Illustrator can open SVG files and export them as EPS — so the practical path to getting an EPS from a PNG is a two-step process.

Step 1: Convert your PNG to SVG using the Logo Vectorizer or PNG to SVG converter. This produces a clean vector SVG that accurately represents the shapes in your PNG at any resolution.

Step 2: Open the SVG in Adobe Illustrator (File > Open), Inkscape (free — File > Open), or CorelDRAW, then export or save as EPS (File > Export, or File > Save As > .eps in Illustrator).

This workflow produces a proper EPS file entirely from your PNG source, without needing to manually trace anything. For logos and flat graphics, the SVG intermediate is clean enough that the final EPS matches what a professional designer would deliver.

Inkscape is free and works on Windows, Mac, and Linux. If you don't have Illustrator, Inkscape's Save As > EPS output is accepted by almost all print vendors that require EPS files.
