Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Vectorize Image provides online image upload, vectorization, format conversion, logo cleanup, SVG cleanup, logo health scan, and related file utility tools. This policy explains the data we collect and how it is used to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address and authentication/session details when you sign in with Supabase magic-link authentication.
  • Billing information: subscription status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, invoice/payment status, and billing portal activity needed to manage Vectorize Pro. Full payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored directly by Vectorize Image.
  • Uploaded files and generated outputs: images, SVG files, conversion inputs, processing settings, and resulting files needed to provide the selected tool.
  • Usage and technical data: pages visited, tool usage events, device/browser information, IP address, error details, server/function logs, and analytics data.
  • Support communications: your email address, message content, attachments, and related context when you contact support.

3. Uploaded Files and Processing

Uploaded files are processed to provide the tool you choose, such as vectorization, resizing, background removal, SVG cleanup, conversion, or logo health analysis. The protected vectorization preview accepts PNG, JPEG, and WebP files up to 4 MiB. Access to a protected vector result expires two hours after it is created. After access expires, its private raw SVG and stored raster preview are eligible for clearing through bounded cleanup triggered by application activity; physical clearing or deletion may occur later. Other tools may use different documented limits and handling. The app does not present itself as a permanent file library.

Some providers that help operate the service may process request data, file data, logs, or metadata as part of hosting, security, analytics, diagnostics, or the selected feature. Do not upload files unless you have the right to process them and are comfortable with this processing.

4. Third-Party Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate key parts of Vectorize Image:

  • Supabase: authentication, account sessions, profile data, private protected-vector results, authorization, and bounded abuse-control metadata.
  • Stripe: checkout, subscriptions, invoices, payments, and customer portal.
  • OpenAI: image analysis for Logo Health Scan and any OpenAI-backed feature.
  • Vercel: hosting, serverless functions, deployment infrastructure, and logs.
  • Vercel Analytics: site usage analytics.
  • Microsoft Clarity: product analytics and session behavior insights.

5. How We Use Information

  • Provide image processing, vectorization, conversion, cleanup, scan, and download features.
  • Create and manage accounts, sessions, subscriptions, billing status, and customer portal access.
  • Respond to support, billing, refund, cancellation, privacy, and tool-output questions.
  • Monitor performance, debug errors, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and secure the service.
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns and improve product quality.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and payment-processing obligations.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Vectorize Image and its providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies for authentication sessions, site access, analytics, performance, product behavior, and app functionality. Some logo scan results or related non-payment app state may be stored in your browser local storage so pages can reload or share a local result view.

7. Retention

We keep account, billing, support, analytics, security, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. Access to protected vectorization results expires two hours after creation. Expired raw SVG and stored preview data are then eligible for bounded clearing. Result, download-claim, security, and abuse-control records become eligible for later bounded removal. Cleanup runs in bounded batches in response to application activity, so physical clearing or deletion may occur after the eligibility time. Logs, other tool metadata, browser-stored data, or provider-retained records may persist longer where needed for operational, security, support, or legal reasons.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service and the data processed through it. No website, file-processing pipeline, hosting provider, or payment system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid uploading highly sensitive files.

9. Your Choices

You can choose not to create an account for tools that do not require sign-in. You can manage Vectorize Pro billing through Account > Manage billing. You can also contact us to ask privacy, support, billing, cancellation, or refund questions.
