About Convert JPEG to SVG
JPEG and JPG refer to the same file format — the Joint Photographic Experts Group compression standard. Both extensions work identically in this converter. Upload either and the tool will process your image and return a clean SVG vector.
JPEG uses lossy compressed, which means some pixel information is discarded during compression. For logos and flat graphics, this is usually not a problem — the tracer intelligently identifies the dominant colors and edges and rebuilds clean shapes. Minor compression artifacts are smoothed out during vectorization.
The resulting SVG is resolution-independent. You can embed it directly in a website's HTML, open it in Figma or Illustrator, send it to a print shop, or use it with a vinyl cutter. All downstream tools that accept SVG will work perfectly with the output.
For best JPEG-to-SVG conversion results: ensure the source JPEG hasn't been resaved multiple times (each save cycle increases compression artifacts), use the highest-quality JPEG available, and upload a version where the logo fills most of the frame — minimal blank margin improves trace accuracy.
