No account is required to create or view the protected preview. The preview accepts one PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 4 MiB; other source formats must be exported or converted to one of those formats first. Editable SVG export requires paid or complimentary access. Review the exported SVG in the appropriate downstream software; non-SVG formats and machine instructions require separate conversion.

TeePublic accepts PNG files with transparent backgrounds for most products. Here are the complete file requirements and preparation steps.
File format: TeePublic requires PNG with transparency. Do not upload JPG — JPG does not support transparency and produces a white background on dark garments. Direct protected-preview input accepts PNG, JPEG, or WebP; other source formats must be exported first.
Resolution: TeePublic recommends a minimum of 2000 × 2000 pixels for standard products. For best quality across all products including large prints, use 4500 × 5400 pixels at 300 DPI. Low-resolution uploads are flagged by TeePublic's system and may be rejected or produce poor print quality.
Transparency: the PNG must have a transparent background (alpha channel). White backgrounds print as white on the shirt — this is correct only if white is intentional. For designs that should show the garment colour through, ensure all non-design areas are fully transparent.
Colour mode: TeePublic prints in CMYK but accepts RGB files. If you have a specific CMYK colour requirement, note that screen-to-print colour variation is normal. Design with print-safe RGB values (avoid neon or out-of-gamut colours that shift dramatically when converted to CMYK).
Preparing a logo for TeePublic: if you have a PNG logo with a white or coloured background, use the background removal tool first. Download the transparent PNG, resize to at least 2000px, and upload to TeePublic.
