Sublimation printers accept raster files (PNG, JPEG) but resolution becomes a limitation when scaling artwork up. A PNG designed at 300 DPI for a 5x5 inch area becomes pixelated when scaled to fill a 15x20 inch panel.
For illustrated designs: vectorize the core graphic elements and combine with high-resolution raster backgrounds if needed.
The protected preview is available without an account; editable SVG export requires paid or complimentary access. Open in Illustrator or Inkscape. Set the document to the substrate dimensions (e.g., 11oz mug template or 8x10 inch panel). Position and scale the vector artwork to fit. Export as PNG at 300 DPI for the sublimation RIP software or design service.
