How to Convert PNG to SVG
This guide explains a PNG-to-SVG workflow that begins with a supported PNG upload, shows a protected preview, and keeps editable geometry private until download authorization.
Steps

Choose the clearest owned PNG source available and confirm that it is within the published upload and decoded-image limits.

Upload the PNG to create the protected preview; no account is required to create or view that preview.

Inspect the raster preview for missing detail, altered negative space, unwanted background regions, and obvious tracing artifacts.

Use the visible SVG download action when ready. Anonymous users are asked to sign in, and signed-in Free users are shown the subscription-required boundary.

After paid or complimentary authorization, download the stored SVG and inspect its paths, dimensions, colors, and downstream compatibility in an appropriate editor.

The preview accepts one PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 4 MiB; other source formats must be exported or converted to one of those formats first. Editable SVG export requires paid or complimentary access. Review the exported SVG in the appropriate downstream software; non-SVG formats and machine instructions require separate conversion.

PNG stores a fixed pixel grid, while SVG stores editable geometry. A PNG-to-SVG workflow is most useful for owned logos, icons, and flat artwork whose edges and color regions can be meaningfully inspected after tracing. Photographic or heavily textured sources may require more downstream review.
Vectorize Image accepts PNG directly and creates a protected preview without exposing SVG XML or path geometry to the browser. The same vectorization run persists the private SVG behind an opaque short-lived result reference. Editable SVG download requires paid or complimentary authorization.
After authorized download, compare the SVG with the source at the intended display size. Check proportions, holes and negative space, small fragments, path complexity, canvas dimensions, and colors before using it in web, print, or another downstream workflow.
