Open in the sign cutting software: — FLEXI: File > Import > SVG. — SignCut Pro: File > Import. — Roland CutStudio: File > Insert. — VinylMaster: File > Import. 3. Check weld settings — overlapping paths should be welded to prevent double-cutting. 4. Assign material and colour settings. 5. Set blade depth and speed for the vinyl type. 6. Send to the sign cutter.
Logo sign cutting quality checklist: — Colours: each vinyl colour = one cut mat. A 3-colour logo requires 3 separate cuts on 3 sheets of vinyl. — Minimum detail size: sign vinyl cutting has a practical minimum feature of 3–5 mm. — Registration marks: for multi-colour vinyl sign assembly, add registration marks before cutting to align layers. — Weeding: contour-only logos are faster to weed than complex inner paths. — Contour cut: ensure the sign cutter receives the contour cut layer, not a print layer.
