JPEG images can be converted to SVG using the same auto-trace process used for PNG files. The key difference is that JPEG uses lossy compression, which can introduce blocky artifacts at color boundaries. Uploading the highest-quality JPEG available minimizes this effect.
Minor JPEG artifacts are smoothed out during the trace.
After authorized SVG download, check the following: color accuracy (compare against the original), path smoothness (look for jagged edges on curves), and file size (the SVG should be substantially smaller than the JPEG for flat logos). If color accuracy is off, open the SVG in a vector editor and update the fill values.
