A print-ready vector file contains clean vector paths, correct physical dimensions, and the proper color mode for the intended print process. Here is a real workflow from a low-resolution source PNG to a production-ready file.
Example: A company logo exists only as a 300×150px PNG file. The logo needs to be printed on a 300×600mm pull-up banner. The PNG at 300px is far too small for quality large-format output.
Step 1 — Upscale the source. Upload the PNG to the Logo Upscaler. Set the output to the maximum multiplier available. This sharpens edges and adds resolution before the vectorizing step.
Step 2 — Vectorize. Upload the upscaled PNG to the Logo Vectorizer. Download the SVG — the logo is now represented as scalable paths, usable at any output size without quality loss.
Step 3 — Configure for print. Open the SVG in Inkscape or Illustrator. Set the document dimensions to the final print size: 300×600mm. Position the logo at the correct size and layout. Set the document color profile to CMYK for offset or large-format printing.
Step 4 — Export as PDF. Use File > Export or Save As PDF with embedded paths, CMYK color profile, and 3mm bleed if the printer requires it.
Result: a single-page print-ready PDF with clean vector artwork at exact print dimensions — suitable for any format size without quality degradation.
