About Convert EPS to JPG

EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) is a print-oriented vector format that most web tools, email clients, and social media platforms cannot display. Converting EPS to JPG creates a raster image from the vector at any resolution — suitable for web pages, email, Word documents, PowerPoint decks, and social media profiles.

Using Adobe Illustrator to convert EPS to JPG: 1. File > Open your EPS file. 2. Confirm artboard bounds in the crop dialog. 3. File > Export > Export As — select JPEG. 4. Set resolution (72dpi for web, 300dpi for print preview). 5. Set quality (8–10 for best quality). 6. Click Export.

Using macOS Preview: Open the EPS in Preview. File > Export. Choose JPEG format and desired resolution.

Using Inkscape (free): File > Open the EPS. File > Export PNG Image — exports as raster. For JPG, save the PNG and convert with any image tool.

When to convert EPS to JPG: — Adding a logo to a Word or PowerPoint document (neither supports EPS natively). — Uploading a logo to a website CMS, email marketing tool, or social media account. — Sending a design preview to a client who does not have Illustrator. — Creating a thumbnail or preview image from a vector master file. — Sharing brand assets with non-designers who need a universally viewable format.
