About Vectorize logo for tote bags

Tote bags are printed using screen printing, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), sublimation, or direct-to-garment (DTG) printing. Screen printing and HTV produce the most durable results and are the most common methods for branded promotional tote bags.

Screen printing on tote bags: the most cost-effective method for large quantities. Requires a vector file with flat spot colours — one screen per colour. Vectorize the logo and simplify to 1–3 colours for the most economical screen print. The protected preview is available without an account; editable SVG export requires paid or complimentary access.

Heat transfer vinyl (HTV) for tote bags: HTV is cut from coloured vinyl sheets and heat-pressed onto the tote. A vector cut file is required. After vectorizing, the SVG defines the cut path for the vinyl cutter. Each colour requires a separate cut from a different vinyl colour.

Sublimation printing: works only on polyester-based totes (not cotton). The full design is sublimated as a raster image.

DTG printing: direct-to-garment printing prints raster images directly onto fabric.

Standard tote bag print area: the front panel print area is typically 250mm × 250mm to 350mm × 350mm. Export the vectorized logo at this size for prepared for downstream production review delivery.
